  • Network Cables: Yuxun specializes in producing various types of network cables, including twisted pair cables (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a), fiber optic cables, and coaxial cables. These cables are designed to support high-speed data transmission and are used in diverse applications such as local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and internet connectivity.
  • Ethernet Cables: Yuxun's Ethernet cables are widely used in LANs to connect devices like computers, routers, and switches. They offer reliable data transfer and are essential for applications such as VoIP, video conferencing, and cloud computing.
  • Fiber Optic Cables: These cables provide high bandwidth and are ideal for long-distance data transmission with minimal signal loss. They are often used in backbone networks and data centers where high-speed connectivity is critical.

How We Make It

1. Material Preparation
Material preparation is the foundation of YUXUN's cable manufacturing process. This stage involves selecting high-quality materials for the inner conductors, insulation, and outer protection.
  • Inner Conductors: YUXUN uses both bare copper (BC) and copper-clad aluminum (CCA) conductors, depending on the specific requirements of the cable. BC is preferred for its superior conductivity, while CCA offers a cost-effective alternative without compromising performance significantly.
  • Insulation Materials: Polyethylene (PE) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) are commonly used insulation materials due to their low dielectric constant, which minimizes signal loss and enhances cable performance. For applications requiring higher thermal stability, cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) may be employed.
  • Outer Protection: The outer jacket is typically made from PVC or low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) materials. PVC is widely used due to its flexibility and cost-effectiveness, while LSZH is preferred in environments where safety and environmental concerns are paramount.

2. Core Manufacturing
In this stage, the electrical conductors are carefully braided or twisted into cores according to precise specifications.
  • Twisting Process: The twisting process is crucial for minimizing crosstalk and ensuring signal integrity. Each pair of conductors is twisted at a unique rate to prevent electromagnetic interference from adjacent pairs.
  • Insulation Coating: Once the cores are formed, they are coated with insulation materials using extrusion techniques. This process involves melting plastic pellets and applying them uniformly around the conductors to prevent short circuits and ensure electrical isolation.

3. Assembly
The cores are then assembled into cables, incorporating necessary shielding or anti-interference layers as required.
  • Shielding Techniques: YUXUN employs various shielding methods, including aluminum foil and braided mesh shielding, to protect cables from EMI. Aluminum foil is effective against high-frequency interference, while braided mesh provides comprehensive coverage and flexibility.
  • Cable Design: The assembly process involves carefully designing the cable structure to meet specific performance standards. This includes determining the number of twisted pairs, the type of shielding, and the outer jacket material.

4. Testing and Packaging
The final step involves rigorous testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and packaging the cables for distribution.
  • Testing Standards: YUXUN adheres to international standards such as ANSI/TIA, ISO/IEC, and IEEE. Testing includes continuity checks, attenuation measurements, and crosstalk assessments to guarantee that the cables meet or exceed these standards.
  • Packaging and Labeling: Cables are packaged in rolls or boxes, depending on customer requirements, and labeled with detailed specifications and certifications. This ensures easy identification and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Material Selection

Yuxun's network cables are crafted with precision, focusing on key components such as conductors, jackets, and shielding. Here are some detailed insights into these critical aspects:

1. Conductor Material Selection
Full Copper: Copper is the most commonly used conductor material due to its high conductivity, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness. It is ideal for applications requiring high performance and reliability.
Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA): This material combines the benefits of copper's conductivity with aluminum's lower cost and lighter weight. CCA is often used in applications where cost is a significant factor, though it may not offer the same level of performance as full copper.

2. Jacket Materials
PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride): PVC jackets are widely used due to their flexibility, wear resistance, and insulation properties. They are suitable for indoor applications but may not perform well in harsh outdoor conditions.
PE (Polyethylene): PE jackets offer superior resistance to cold temperatures, sunlight, and moisture, making them ideal for outdoor and industrial environments.
LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen): LSZH jackets are preferred in environments where safety is paramount, such as public buildings and data centers, due to their low smoke emission and non-toxic properties.

3. Shielding Options
UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair): UTP cables are the most basic and cost-effective option, suitable for home and office networks. They lack shielding, which makes them more susceptible to electromagnetic interference (EMI).
FTP (Foil Twisted Pair): FTP cables have each pair of wires wrapped in foil, providing better protection against EMI compared to UTP.
U-FTP (Unshielded Foil Twisted Pair): This type combines the benefits of UTP with the shielding of FTP, offering a balance between cost and performance.
SFTP (Shielded Foil Twisted Pair): SFTP cables offer the highest level of shielding, combining foil wrapping around each pair with an additional braided or foil shield around the entire cable. This makes them ideal for environments with high EMI, such as industrial settings.

Related Technologies

Yuxun's network cables are crafted with precision, focusing on key components such as conductors, jackets, and shielding. Here are some detailed insights into these critical aspects:

1. Inspection of Appearance
Visual Inspection: A basic yet critical step in quality control, visual inspections check for visible defects such as damaged insulation, rust, or corrosion.
Importance: Ensures that cables are free from obvious defects before proceeding to more complex testing.

2. Continuity Test
Purpose: Continuity testing verifies that there is an uninterrupted path for electrical current within a circuit, ensuring that cables function as intended.
Method: Conducted using digital multimeters to measure resistance and detect any breaks or high resistance in the circuit.
Importance: Essential for identifying issues such as mis-wiring or damaged conductors.

3. Fluke Testing Support
Fluke Test: A comprehensive series of tests conducted with Fluke network testers to certify cable performance according to industry standards like TIA and ISO.
Patch Cord Testing: Verifies the performance of patch cords, ensuring high reliability and durability.
Channel Testing: Tests the complete end-to-end link in a network, including patch cords and cables.
Permanent Link Testing: Focuses on the fixed portion of the network, excluding equipment cords.
Importance: Provides assurance that network cabling meets required specifications, reducing downtime and ensuring reliable data transmission.
